The municipality of Beauvoisin is continuing to improve its rainwater network with ongoing works in the Gour area, aimed at optimizing the drainage of runoff water to the local watercourse.

As part of the rainwater network's creation, a supplementary intervention is being carried out at the Gour. The objective is to enhance the channeling of surface water to the local watercourse.
This new rainwater network collects a portion of the runoff water. It is then directed through underground pipes, starting from the valley and passing through Rue de la Graille, Rue de la mer Rouge, and Place de la Fontaine, before finally reaching Le Gour.
Water collected by grates and gutters flows into a waiting chamber covered by a grating, located at the network's end. From there, four pipes channel the water under the Place de la Fontaine before it is discharged into Le Gour.
The old concrete structure in Le Gour was obstructing the proper flow of water. To address this, the current works involve removing this concrete over approximately twenty meters. The ground will then be leveled, followed by the pouring of new concrete to re-establish adequate water flow.
The construction is progressing in sections of 5 to 6 meters. Each phase includes the demolition of the existing surface, preparation of the base, and the pouring of new concrete.
