The duo Marie-Armande, named in homage to Marie-Armande Moutou, a prominent figure in Réunionnais Séga music, explores the revival of popular music. It features Sarah Amiel on cello and guitar, and Laura Marteau on ukulele and banjo.
Drawing from the music of the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean, the group crafts a unique atmosphere, infused with natural elements. Their lyrics are in French, highlighting melodies, vocal harmonies, and rhythmic subtleties.
