The steering committee of the CTO (Contrat Territorial Occitanie) was held on October 13, 2026, in Collias. The meeting brought together all PETR partners, including The Region, the Department, and the two inter-municipal communities.
Muriel Bonneau, president of PETR, began the session by thanking the partners for their technical and financial support. Subsequently, operations supported by the Region and its partners were presented, summarizing actions validated since the last committee on September 30, 2025, and introducing new operations voted for 2026.
In total, 22 operations received financial support amounting to €1,410,220 from the Region, €3,902,597 from the Department, €4,371,996 from the State, and €763,916 from other partners, including the territory's EPCIs. These public funds total €10,448,729, representing over 30% of the projects' total cost.
This territorial dynamic is reflected in the diversity of supported projects, covering areas such as accessibility, energy renovation, de-sealing, structuring sports facilities, playgrounds, and soft mobility. The PETR also provides essential engineering support.
Seven additional files are still under review and will be proposed for vote in upcoming commissions. Furthermore, the committee unanimously examined and pre-selected a FEDER project for the creation of an artistic teaching center in Uzès, deemed structuring and aligned with the territory's strategy. This project will be submitted to a regional commission in the coming months for FEDER funding allocation.
