In response to the latest weather forecasts predicting heavy storms in the west of the department in the morning, followed by the Nîmes and Alès areas during the day, the presidency of the University of Nîmes (Unîmes) has decided to suspend classes scheduled for Wednesday, September 30. This measure applies to the various university sites in Nîmes and Alès.
The university and its library will remain open, unless the prefecture orders the closure of educational institutions based on the evolving situation. Classes are expected to resume normally on Thursday morning at the usual times.
Students, teachers, and staff are urged to exercise extreme caution and strictly adhere to the safety instructions provided by the prefectural authorities.
