As part of the Blue Week initiative, several events are being organized in Le Grau-du-Roi during the week of October 5th. These events aim to inform and support seniors and their loved ones.
On Tuesday, October 6th, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, the Communal Center for Social Action (CCAS), located at 154, allée Léopold Rosso, will host an event in partnership with CCTC and France Rénov’. The program includes advice on avoiding scams, information on home renovation, and necessary adaptations for accessibility.
On Thursday, October 8th, a morning will be dedicated to caregivers at the market in Grau-du-Roi. In collaboration with the Department and the Caregiver Resource Center of Vauvert, two CCAS agents, supported by Communauté 360, will be present to inform, raise awareness, and assist individuals caring for relatives with disabilities.
Finally, on Friday, October 9th at 2:30 PM, the municipal hall « Les Argonautes », located at avenue du Mail in Boucanet, will host the play « Mon coloc est un senior » (My roommate is a senior). This performance, which humorously and musically addresses the topic of solidarity-based intergenerational cohabitation, is part of a national theater tour organized by the Cohabilis network and funded by Esprit Retraite, in partnership with La Logitude.
