The project aims to create a safe and continuous cycling route from ViaRhôna to the Hérault River, this time focusing on Boulevard du Docteur Jean-Bastide, between the D62C and Impasse du Sirocco.
These developments include the creation of bidirectional cycle paths and the separation of pedestrian walkways along the entire route, with the goal of ensuring clear and secure usage for all road users. Special attention will be given to the greening of these new spaces.
During the construction period, Boulevard du Docteur Jean-Bastide will be closed to vehicular traffic between the D62C and Impasse du Sirocco. A detour will be in place via Avenue de la Pinède. Rue du Pic Saint-Loup and a section of Avenue de la Pinède will also be closed.
The 'Aigues-Marines' urban shuttle stop will be temporarily relocated to the 'Avenue du Mail' stop. Pedestrian and cycle access will be maintained, particularly around the Les Aigues-Marines residence, to facilitate mobility for people with reduced mobility.
