“

"I wanted to acknowledge the former President of the CCPC André Brundu, and the former mayor of Vauvert Jean Denat, who through their commitments, enabled this project to come to fruition. Faithful to republican tradition, we must recognize the work undertaken by our predecessors when it serves the general interest, and ensure its continuity, throughout mandates, always for the benefit of our territory and its inhabitants."

Nicolas Meizonnet · Mayor of Vauvert
Le Montcalm serves as the gateway to the Costières neighborhood. The City of Vauvert conducted a parallel operation as part of the New National Urban Renewal Program (NPNRU). This involved acquiring and demolishing 6 protruding commercial spaces, while retaining 2 shops to meet the daily needs of residents.
Aid from the ANRU for the co-ownership and related works amounts to over €1.5 million, including the creation of a new commercial space (€412 K), the development of a public area at the foot of the Le Montcalm co-ownership (€744 K), residentialization (€69 K), and the landscaping of the shopping center surroundings (€297 K).
The future commercial premises on Albert Camus street, near the residence, will be completed and fully occupied by the end of this year or early next year.
The development of a public space, including a reorganized parking area, a redesigned pedestrian zone, landscaping, and the renovation of public lighting for €301,964.08 HT, was led by the City of Vauvert. Project management was handled by RCI (€14,850.00 HT), utilities and networks by ROCHE BTP (€181,380.50 HT), green spaces by DAUDET PAYSAGES (€47,486.18 HT), and lighting by CITEOS (€58,247.40 HT).
The City of Vauvert, the CCPC, the Anah, and the co-ownership collaborated closely, with the involvement of co-owners, shopkeepers, municipal teams, CCPC services, Citémétrie, and all financiers.
Future steps for the residence include finalizing outstanding payment procedures, revising the property division description and co-ownership rules, managing residual lots, and overseeing maintenance and training for the new facilities. The City and the CCPC are supporting residents and co-owners with these future requests.
