Starting October 26, 2026, Nîmes Métropole is launching an experiment for on-demand drop-offs on the T1, T2, and T3 lines of the Tango network. This system aims to allow passengers to alight between two stops to get closer to their destination in the evening.

This new service will be tested for a period of six months. Available from 8 PM, it offers users the possibility to request a stop between two stations, provided that safety conditions allow. The main objective is to reduce the walking distance in the evening and accompany passengers closer to their final destination.
This measure is part of Nîmes Métropole's mobility policy and seeks to address barriers related to the feeling of insecurity that can limit certain night-time journeys. The driver remains responsible for choosing the drop-off point to ensure the safety of all passengers.
To find out the precise usage methods, lines, and schedules concerned by this experiment, travelers are invited to consult the full press release available on the Nîmes Métropole website.
