As part of Pink October, the Mammobile, a free breast cancer screening unit, will be present in Villemur-sur-Tarn and Saint-Jory in early November, facilitating access to care for women aged 50-74.

The Bruguières Town Hall supports the Pink October initiative with the arrival of the Mammobile in the North Toulouse region. This equipped truck aims to simplify access to breast cancer screening for all concerned women, emphasizing that early detection greatly facilitates treatment.
The unit will be located in Villemur-sur-Tarn on Monday, November 9th, at the Halle de l'Espace Brusson, and in Saint-Jory on Tuesday, November 10th, at 5 rue du Château, opposite the media library. Operating hours will be from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:00 PM to 5:50 PM.
This screening is intended for women aged 50 to 74, who have not had a mammogram in at least 1 year and 10 months, and who do not have specific medical follow-up related to breast cancer. Please note that the unit is not accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Appointments are already open. Interested individuals can book their slot via Doctolib by searching for "Mammobile Haute-Garonne", or by phone at 05 32 74 14 43. Walk-in slots will also be available on-site.
The campaign encourages sharing the information with loved ones: "Talk about it around you: to your mothers, sisters, friends, or neighbors! Early screening saves lives."
