Around forty residents from the Sicoval territory will gather throughout 2026-2027 to work alongside elected officials and inter-municipal agents on the essential question of how to improve housing access for everyone, throughout their lives. This assembly is based on the lived experiences and diverse backgrounds of each participant: students, young professionals, families, seniors. No specific skills are required; the diversity of participants is intended to generate useful recommendations to inform the elected officials' decisions.
Residents from Pechabou, like those from the other 36 municipalities within the Sicoval, are invited to take part in these works, which will be organized around five key meetings.
The first meeting will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 9:30 AM in Lacroix-Falgarde, for introductions and to establish the framework of the assembly. This will be followed by a session on Thursday, December 17, 2026, at 6:30 PM in Varennes, to explore housing-related issues.
Participants will reconvene on Saturday, February 27, 2027, at 9:30 AM in Odars, to share their experiences and identify common challenges. The fourth meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2027, at 9:30 AM in Aureville, to prioritize future needs for the territory.
Finally, the last session will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2027, at 9:30 AM in Vieille-Toulouse, to collaboratively design the desired residential pathways. As housing is a concern that affects everyone, organizers strongly encourage residents to seize this opportunity.
Registration is open until Tuesday, November 3, 2026, online or via email at codev@sicoval.fr.
