The Communal Social Action Centre (CCAS) of Castelnau-d'Estrétefonds is joining the "Solidarity Boxes" Christmas operation, in partnership with the association Espoir – Les Quatre Saisons.

The initiative encourages citizens to prepare a shoebox containing items for adults or children, marked as "Man," "Woman," "Boy," "Girl," or "Mixed."
Each box should include five types of items: a warm clothing item or accessory (new or in very good condition) such as a hat, scarf, gloves, or socks; a non-perishable treat like chocolates or biscuits; a new hygiene or care product (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, cream); a leisure item such as a book, notebook, card game, or pens; and finally, a sweet note, a letter, a drawing, or a warm greeting card.
The solidarity boxes should be dropped off at the reception of the CCAS, located at Maison Lagleyse, 29 Grande Rue. Collection hours are Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm, and Friday from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. The deadline for dropping off the boxes is December 11, 2026.
