The project, initiated by resident Alexandre Moreaux, aimed to modernize the hall's seating. Supported by the residents during the participatory budget vote, this desire for renewal is now a reality. This venue, formerly the girls' school, naturally held its inauguration as part of the European Heritage Days program.
During the ceremony, Alexandre Moreaux expressed his hope that this renovation marks the beginning of a broader dynamic, especially for young people: 'I hope this is a first step towards a more dynamic center, and especially for the youth.'
Mathieu Lafoux, speaking at the event, warmly thanked all those who contributed to the project, including Alex Moreaux for his idea. He expressed his hope that many Fonsorbes residents will enjoy this now more comfortable and welcoming hall.
The celebration concluded in a friendly atmosphere with refreshments served in the courtyard behind the cinema, allowing participants to extend their conversations and share the joy of this new milestone for the Cinémuz' space.
