The 5th edition of the review L’Atelier du Patrimoine, histoire, Patrimoine et mémoire – Fonsorbes has just been published. This new issue covers different periods of the town's history, various aspects of its built heritage, and the memory of local figures.
The content of this edition includes topics such as old pigeonniers (dovecotes), archaeological campaigns carried out in the area, recent research on the domaine de la Martinette, and the figure of 'Marianne', a symbol of the Republic, whose bust is present in the municipal council chamber.
Notable personalities also mentioned include Jacques Amouroux, former mayor, Élie Calvayrac, owner of the Troubet farm and agricultural activist, as well as the emblematic rural figure of the garde suisse (Swiss guard).
