The town of Fronton is launching an appeal for volunteers to lead literacy workshops at the media library, aiming to help residents master French and integrate into local life.

Mastery of French is essential for social life and access to daily services. Therefore, the CCAS of Fronton is actively seeking volunteers to support residents who wish to learn the French language.
This commitment is open to anyone, whether retired or passionate about learning, who enjoys exchanging and wishes to share their knowledge. The workshops are held at the Fronton media library, with flexible hours to accommodate individual availability.
Leading a workshop is an enriching human adventure, contributing to the transmission of local language, history, and culture. It also provides an opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds and build lasting connections.
Since 2021, the Fronton media library has hosted French familiarization workshops, launched by the municipality and supported by the CCAS. These sessions are for residents of Fronton who do not yet master the language. Volunteers dedicate their time, knowledge, and energy each week.
This appeal aligns with the initiative 'Fronton, City Friendly to Seniors,' encouraging retirees to offer their experience to the community and making everyone an active participant in local life.
For more information and to register, individuals can contact Tiffany Doumergue and Sabrina Moustapha at the CCAS of Fronton by phone at 05 62 79 92 14 or by email at ccas@mairie-fronton.fr. The appeal poster is also available for download.
