Eighteen new Regio2N trainsets, each 83 meters long and offering up to 500 seats across two levels, will join the liO Train network in Occitanie.

These new trains, delivered progressively by Alstom at a rate of one unit per month, will be put into service as they are received. This order aims to address a significant increase in liO train ridership and the growing mobility needs of the region's inhabitants.
With current maintenance workshops nearing saturation, SNCF Voyageurs is studying the creation of a new track at the Perpignan site. This new facility would include an under-train inspection pit, a walkway, and a 90-meter shelter to allow work day and night, protected from bad weather and summer climatic conditions.
In addition to funding this study, the Region is preparing for the implementation of a future coastal workshop in the Béziers-Colombier sector.
