Following the indirect vote held at the Toulouse prefecture, the department's electoral college designated its new representatives. The election marked the renewal of half of the Senate through indirect universal suffrage.
The results show notable participation with 3,325 registered voters, 3,236 votes cast, and 55 abstentions.
The five senators elected for Haute-Garonne are: Pierre MEDEVIELLE (Divers droite), Brigitte MICOULEAU (Divers droite), Thierry SUAUD (Divers gauche), Magali GASTO OUSTRIC (Divers gauche), and Marc PÉRÉ (Divers gauche).
