The municipality of Montberon has completed the renovation of sidewalks and green spaces on Rue des Cerisiers, continuing its annual investment program in road infrastructure.

Launched in 2024 with an annual investment of €50,000, the roadworks program of the Communauté de communes, in partnership with the "Détour de Route" study office, is progressing. Following a diagnosis that classified streets by urgency, a five-year plan has been established, aiming to renovate approximately 300 meters of sidewalks each year.
After Rue des Mimosas in 2025, Rue des Cerisiers has now seen its improvements completed. Sidewalks and green spaces have been renovated. Only the marking for the 10 on-street parking spaces remains to be done.
The next phase of this program will concern Rue des Hortensias in 2027.
Each construction site involves consultation with local residents, including on-site meetings before the study and a presentation before the work begins. Green space designs are also being rethought to facilitate maintenance and adapt to the local climate.
