To build momentum for the major gathering scheduled for Sunday, October 11th, three specific containers for cans have been set up in Roquettes. These new collection points are located at Impasse Montségur, near the school (opposite the kindergarten entrance), and on Rue Victor Hugo.
Residents can now deposit their cans there. The entirety of the collection will be donated to the association K Net Partage and the Lions Club of Portet-sur-Garonne, to support various charitable initiatives.
A major ecological and community event is also planned for Sunday, October 11th, from 9 AM to 12 PM, in front of the Château. This day aims to raise awareness about eco-friendly practices, especially among children, and will be an opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to gather.
For safety reasons, participants are asked to wear a yellow or orange safety vest, remain vigilant of traffic, and report any heavy or sharp waste to the organizers without handling it.
The morning will conclude with a well-deserved friendship drink. The Municipality of Roquettes thanks its partners: Intermarché Pinsaguel for the collection equipment, as well as the associations K’net Partage and the Lions Club of Portet-sur-Garonne.
