The town of Seysses will host the Schoolchildren's Race on October 8th and 9th at the Parc de la Bourdette. This sporting event aims both to set a new distance record for students and to raise funds for the association 'Hôpital Sourire'.
Students from Paul Langevin, Flora Tristan, Saint-Roch, and Claire Roman schools will participate in this dual challenge. The running schedules are spread across the two days, with races planned for Thursday, October 8th, and Friday, October 9th, 2026.
On Thursday, October 8th, the races will commence at 9:20 AM and continue until 3:10 PM, involving various classes from CE2, CE1/CE2, CM1, CM1/CM2, CP/CE1, CP, GS/CP, CE2/CM2, CM1/CM2, and CM2. On Friday, October 9th, the younger students will take over starting at 9:20 AM, with classes from MS, MS/GS, GS/MS, GS, PS/MS, and PS, concluding at 11:25 AM.
The community is invited to come and cheer on the young participants in this solidarity initiative.
