The University of Toulouse has launched its student participatory budget, "Campus en Action," with a fund of €25,000 to finance concrete projects proposed by students and staff aimed at improving campus life and promoting ecological and societal transition.

The "Campus en Action" initiative, funded by the CVEC, invites the university community to submit ideas for transforming campuses into more ecological, supportive, inclusive, and pleasant environments. Projects can cover various areas such as waste reduction, circular economy, energy sobriety, sustainable mobility, biodiversity, sustainable food, solidarity, equality, inclusion, diversity, combating discrimination, and well-being.
The program is open to students enrolled at the University of Toulouse, individually or in groups, as well as to university staff proposing projects for students. Each winning project can receive up to €12,000, provided it is technically, legally, and financially feasible and aligns with the University's mission.
The process involves three stages. Project proposals are accepted from October 15 to December 11, 2026, followed by the review of projects by a CVEC commission. Eligible projects will then be put to a student vote from February 22 to March 5, 2027. Selected projects will be implemented starting in March 2027.
