Toulouse Métropole is supporting artistic creation by launching a call for projects for two grants aimed at works that combine literature and performing arts, as part of the Marathon des mots.

The initiative aims to encourage collaborations between authors and artists, with a particular focus on "short forms" of creation lasting no more than one hour. Applications are open until September 7, 2026.
At the Toulouse Métropole Council meeting on October 15th, two recipients were awarded: Clémentine Pons for "Qu’on arrête de trébucher sur moi" (theme: Create) and Nadège Rossato for "Starhawk, Rêver l’obscur" (theme: Resist). Each grantee receives €3,000 for creation and an equivalent amount for production and coordination through the Marathon du Livre association.
Selected projects must be original, align with the themes of "Resist" or "Create," and demonstrate strong literary ambition, incorporating other artistic disciplines. The selection committee will announce its decision by September 17, 2026.
