Due to a strike notice filed within the Le Figuier school group, children will not be received by their teachers on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The municipality of Verfeil has stated that it will not be able to implement a Minimum Reception Service for this day. The establishment of such a service requires organization with sufficient and trained personnel for child reception.
To offer a future solution, the municipality is working with parent representatives on the organizational methods for such reception. For the other schools in Verfeil, the Jean Louis VIGUIER kindergarten and the Comtesse de Ségur elementary school, classes will proceed as usual. School catering and ALAE (after-school care) services will also operate normally.
