The Lannemezan town hall hosted the meeting of the GAL Coteaux-Nestes local action group, featuring the election of a new board and the approval of projects funded by the European LEADER program.

As part of the European LEADER 2023-2027 program, a meeting of the GAL Coteaux-Nestes local action group took place on Wednesday, September 23rd at the Lannemezan Town Hall. This session welcomed new members from the five inter-municipalities that make up the GAL, following the 2026 municipal elections and the designation of new representatives.
The meeting was also marked by the election of new leadership. As Maurice LOUDET did not extend his term, Mr. Pierre ABADIE, president of the 3CVA, was unanimously elected as the new President of the GAL, with Maryse BEYRIE serving as vice-president.
Furthermore, the municipality of Tramezaïgues had its programming dossier approved. Three opportunity notices were also voted on: a local heritage valorization action by CCAL, a canning workshop by 'Les Co’cottes', and a hybrid third place in Rebouc named 'Culture Son'.
With 27 selected projects totaling 1.5 million euros, the budget allocated to the territory is almost entirely consumed. At the end of 2026, the PETR is studying the last candidate projects, while 2027 will be dedicated to supporting all projects through programming, contracting, and payment.
