Elected officials, partners, and the press discovered two buildings in Lourdes on Thursday, October 8th, before the start of their rehabilitation work. Among them were Mayor Thierry Lavit and Deputy Mayor Marie-Henriette Cabanne, accompanied by municipal council members. Representatives from the National Housing Agency (ANAH), the Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Agglomeration Community, the Department, the architect of the French Buildings, the ADIL 65, and Action Logement were also present.
These projects, led by landlord owners and supported by the firm Urbanis as part of the OPAH-RU 2025/2030 program, aim to combat degraded housing and offer quality accommodations. The city is thus continuing its housing improvement initiative.
At 11-13 chemin des Rochers, a house will be transformed into 4 apartments by the SCI Les Jardins du Rocher. The estimated cost of works is €520,819 including tax, with an estimated €150,802 in aid.
On Rue du Révérend Père de Foucauld, a former hotel will provide 8 housing units, ranging from T2 (33 m²) to T4 (approximately 80 m²). This project is led by the SCI Jabali, with works estimated at €556,795 including tax and €250,186 in estimated aid.
The future dwellings will target energy labels B or C, with controlled rents ranging from €258 to €611 excluding charges, depending on size. Financiers include the Anah, the Department, and the agglomeration. A decision from Action Logement is still pending.
After one year of animation, the OPAH-RU has 27 projects underway or completed, representing 38 housing units. On the landlord side, 4 applications have been submitted for 15 units.
Free appointments are available on Tuesdays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Maison France Services, 22 avenue Maréchal Joffre. Contact: 05 59 27 00 27 or pau@urbanis.fr.
