The town of Séméac is organizing the second edition of Séméacais Movember on Friday, November 20th, a sporting and solidarity event aimed at raising awareness about male cancers.

Organized by SO Athlétisme Trail with the support of the Municipality, this event invites participants to mobilize for the cause. The gathering is at 8 PM at the Centre Léo Lagrange for an evening featuring a timed race and an untimed walk, both on a 6 km course through the town.
The first 350 registered participants will receive a free event-colored t-shirt. Registrations are open online at www.inscriptionsenligne.fr and also possible on-site.
The evening will be enlivened by a collective warm-up with the CDOS 65, two batucadas, a refreshment stand, and catering provided by the Comité des fêtes. Information and awareness booths will also be present, run by the Ligue contre le cancer – Comité 65 and the CDOS 65.
All proceeds will be donated to the Ligue contre le cancer – Comité 65, to support the fight against male cancers and emphasize the importance of prevention and screening. While the race and walk are for men, families and friends are welcome to encourage participants.
The previous edition attracted 360 participants and raised €4,000 for the League Against Cancer. Organizers hope to repeat and amplify this momentum this year.
