Recent adverse weather and the cancellation of several collection drives have led to a significant drop in donations across the region. To replenish stocks and meet patient needs, every act of solidarity is vital. The Hospital Center thus encourages both regular donors and first-time volunteers to come forward.
The Maison du Don (Donation Center), located near the Hospital Center, welcomes donors for blood and plasma. It is situated at Boulevard de Lattre de Tassigny – 65000 Tarbes.
Opening hours are as follows:
– Monday and Friday: 9 AM to 11:45 AM and 1 PM to 5:45 PM.
– Tuesday and Thursday: 10 AM to 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:45 PM.
– Monday and Friday: 9 AM to 11:45 AM and 1 PM to 5:45 PM.
– Tuesday and Thursday: 10 AM to 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:45 PM.
Blood donation is possible with or without an appointment, while plasma donation requires a prior booking. Parking is available on-site, as well as bicycle racks. The T1 bus line, stop « Tarbes Hôpital », also serves the location.
