Several workshops were offered to children by the animators, alongside Laurine Fresquet, Dietitian Nutritionist. These activities aimed to help them discover different flavors, such as those of oranges and grapefruits, raise their awareness of product seasonality, and introduce them to healthy eating.
Tastings, sensory trails, preparation of natural drinks, and highlighting local and seasonal products sparked the children's curiosity. These activities made them want to cook and encouraged them to try new flavors, while also raising their awareness of alternatives to sugary drinks.
This year, the workshops particularly focused on the benefits of water for the body and the importance of drinking regularly throughout the day to meet the body's daily water needs.
To extend this awareness, each child left with a complimentary, carefully decorated water bottle, reminding them of the importance of staying hydrated. Taste Week remains a key event for leisure centers, allowing them to transmit the pleasure of good eating to young children, promote food professions, and introduce them to the keys to a more balanced and responsible diet.
