The town of Vic-en-Bigorre is turning pink for Pink October, an initiative dedicated to cancer prevention and screening. From Saturday, October 3rd to Monday, October 19th, 2026, various events are planned to raise public awareness.
The day of Saturday, October 3rd will kick off with a 5 km solidarity walk, accompanied by musical entertainment, adapted physical activities, sophrology workshops, and meetings with midwives and socio-aestheticians. Times for discussion and information on cancer will also be offered, along with a raffle and refreshments.
On Saturday, October 10th, the evening will feature the show "Sous la couette" by Stéphanie Agrain. The performance will take place at 8:30 PM at the Espace Claude Miqueu. Reservations are open via an online form.
Finally, on Monday, October 19th, the Prévent'TIMM bus will make a stop at the Halle de Vic-en-Bigorre. It will be available from 9 AM to 6 PM. You can book an appointment by calling 07.50.75.09.69, on Doctolib, or during the October 3rd event.
