The International Tennis Centre in Cap d’Agde buzzed from October 18th to 24th with the 38th edition of the National Tennis Cup (NTC), the world's largest amateur tennis tournament, bringing together nearly 1,800 players.

Coming from all over France, participants enjoyed a week combining competition and conviviality. Created in 1988, the NTC stands out for its original format, with draws based on ranking, from unranked to 4/6. A winner is designated in each category, for both men and women.
To reach this final stage, nearly 14,000 players had participated in the qualifying tournaments organized by 121 clubs across France. The kickoff for this 38th edition was on Sunday, October 18th, during the opening evening at the Palais des Congrès Cap d’Agde Méditerranée.
The Mayor of Agde, Aurélien Lopez-Liguori, was present to welcome the competitors. On the courts of the CIT, over 1,000 matches were played in seven days.
Beyond the rallies, more than 160 activities enlivened the week, offering players and their companions sports activities, moments of sharing, themed evenings, and opportunities to discover the region's riches. The National Tennis Cup has thus made Cap d’Agde an unmissable event for amateur tennis.
