The municipality of Gignac is moving to the fining stage for wild posting, after several months of education, in order to preserve the living environment and road safety.

After several months of education, the municipality of Gignac is moving to the fining stage regarding wild posting and unauthorized pre-signage (easels, cardboard, unapproved directional signs) which have multiplied in the commune. These practices degrade the living environment and harm road safety.
To preserve the cleanliness of the town and safety, the City of Gignac will now firmly apply the sanctions provided for by the Environmental Code and the Highway Code. Fines can reach €3,750, plus cleaning and restoration costs.
Alternative posting methods are available and should be prioritized: the free expression panels provided in the commune (particularly under the porch of the Espace La Séranne / Bouchard parking), the network of traders in the town center and Cosmo, as well as municipal tools for local associations such as the website agenda and soon 3 new illuminated information panels (on request from the communication department: communication@ville-gignac.com).
Everyone should be able to publicize their initiatives and animate the city, but this must be done with respect for public furniture, regulations, and the living environment of all Gignac residents.
