A new team has been formed for the Children's Municipal Council of Gignac. These twelve youngsters, aged 9 to 10 and attending CM1 or CM2 classes, have been chosen to represent the town's schoolchildren. Following a renewal process involving new volunteers and a draw, they will embark on a civic journey throughout the year.
Accompanied by their facilitators, Françoise Aubineau and Céline Viannais, the young councillors will be made aware of the concepts of democracy, citizenship, liberty, equality, and secularism. They will also have the opportunity to meet with the Town's services, elected officials, and local associations.
Their mission will include proposing three projects they wish to work on. These projects will then be put to a vote by CM1 and CM2 pupils from Gignac's three schools, scheduled for around March.
The members of this new team are: Taouba AZIZ, Anna BENAMEUR VIGNEAUX, Coline BOZE, Loïc BOURDON, Aya CHATTI, Lucas HUTIN-ROYON, Margot JOUANNIC, Albane KNOCHÉ LINARÈS, Alice MASSON-DOYEN, Rihame MEZIAME, Loyka PAULET, and Noéline VENZAL.
