The CGT Public Services Federation has filed a strike notice for Tuesday, September 29, 2026, particularly affecting ATSEM (municipal early childhood assistants) and activity leaders. Despite reported strike intentions among municipal staff, the City of Juvignac is striving to keep a maximum of services open, within the limits of available staff and current regulations.
For before and after-school care and school catering, a specific organization is in place. However, it is noted that this may evolve based on the actual staff present on the day of the strike. The menu served might differ from the one initially planned, and supervised study sessions may not be provided.
Regarding school hours, parents are asked to follow the information and instructions communicated directly by their child's school. If a teacher is on strike, it is recommended to keep the child at home. A minimum reception service (SMA) will be implemented in schools where 25% or more of teachers have declared their intention to strike. Affected families must inform the extracurricular referent, specifying their needs: morning reception (8:30 AM-11:30 AM), afternoon reception (1:30 PM-4:30 PM), or both.
As the registration/deregistration deadline has passed, it is no longer possible to modify your child's booking via your Family Space or the App'table application. If your child will not be attending extracurricular services or catering due to the strike, you must directly notify the extracurricular referent by email or SMS so that the absence can be recorded and no charges applied. Services will be billed based on actual attendance, with no penalties except for late pick-up at closing time.
