The City of Marseillan has launched a consultation process to improve the town center, starting with an urban walk on Wednesday, October 21st.

The question of improving the town center and responding to the needs of those who live and frequent it is at the heart of a consultation process initiated by the City, in collaboration with residents and volunteer associations.
The first step of this collective work was an urban walk organized on Wednesday, October 21st, in the late afternoon. Starting from the town hall, participants covered approximately two kilometers in the town center, stopping at several points to observe the locations and share their impressions.
Topics discussed during the walk included pedestrian and cycling mobility, parking, the presence of vegetation, appreciating the living environment, and well-being in public spaces. Each participant was able to share their perspective and daily experience.
The value of this walk lies in observing the city on the ground and listening to those who use it daily. Their remarks help to better understand habits, encountered difficulties, and expectations.
This first meeting will be followed by three other appointments. Future discussions will first focus on the town center as a whole, before looking more specifically at the school sector.
The objective is to gather concrete ideas and proposals to inform the reflection on the evolution of these spaces and to imagine developments adapted to the needs of residents and users.
