The French Remembrance Committee of Mèze, which includes the communes of Bouzigues, Loupian, Mèze, Montbazin, and Villeveyrac, will be present at the Mèze cemetery on Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1. The aim is to collect donations as part of the Annual Collection organized by this memorial association, recognized as being of public utility by decree on February 1, 1906.
The funds raised will be used for the floral arrangements and maintenance of the graves of soldiers who Died for France, buried in military plots, to preserve these places of memory.
Participating in this collection is an essential gesture to remember the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for France.
The French Remembrance association aims to preserve the memory of those who died for France, animate commemorative events, and pass on the torch of remembrance to future generations.
