The municipalities in sectors 4 (Villeveyrac, Poussan, and Montbazin), 7 (Marseillan, Mèze, Loupian, Bouzigues, and Sète), and 8 (Mireval, Vic-la-Gardiole, Frontignan, Balaruc-les-Bains, Balaruc-le-Vieux, and Gigean) are currently placed on a forest fire alert at the ORANGE level.
In this context, access to forest massifs is discouraged. Work in wooded areas is permitted only between 5 AM and 12 PM, provided that a prevention and extinction system is in place.
By specific municipal decree, access to the Pierres Blanches forest massif in Sète is formally prohibited. Similarly, all work within forest spaces and within a 200-meter radius around these areas is also forbidden.
