For three days, the town was a hub for meetings, demonstrations, and skill transmission. Forty artisans occupied the Sans Souci park and the Vulliod Saint-Germain museum, while workshops in the town center opened their doors. The program included guided tours, a conference, discovery of Pézenas's historic gates, the opening of the Boby Lapointe museum, and cinema screenings, underscoring the sector's vitality.
The inauguration on Friday, September 18, brought together many stakeholders in heritage and crafts. Around Armand Rivière, Mayor of Pézenas, and Gwendoline Chaudoir, President of Hérault Méditerranée Agglomeration, were Stéphane Galerneau (President of Ateliers d’Art de France), Jean-Marc Sauvier (Vice-President of Ville et Métiers d’Art), and Christian Poujol (President of the Hérault CMA). This mobilization highlights the importance of dialogue spaces for the future of heritage.
The City of Pézenas warmly thanks the 40 exhibiting artisans and the local artisans for their passionate participation. The goal is to continue preserving know-how, supporting innovation, and building the future of craft trades and heritage restoration, key elements of a territory's attractiveness.
