Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée has launched a broad consultation initiative to develop its Territory Project. The aim is to listen, share a diagnosis, define priorities, and build a collective roadmap for the coming years. Residents, elected officials, associations, businesses, and local stakeholders from the 14 municipalities are invited to share their expectations, concerns, and ideas.
Following an initial diagnostic phase conducted with a panel of 80 residents from June to September 2026, a major citizen dialogue is beginning with a series of seven public meetings. These will take place starting at 6:30 PM (welcome from 6:00 PM) in the following towns: Mèze (Tuesday, November 10th), Loupian (Thursday, November 12th), Frontignan (Tuesday, November 17th), Balaruc-les-Bains (Tuesday, November 24th), Sète (Thursday, November 26th), Marseillan (Tuesday, December 1st), and Gigean (Tuesday, December 8th). Specific venues will be announced later.
These meetings will facilitate discussions on key inter-municipal priorities and collaborative work on concrete proposals. Three essential questions will be addressed: 'Where are we now?' to understand the territory's realities and challenges, 'Where do we want to go?' to define the main priorities, and 'How do we get there?' to transform ideas into concrete actions.
The contributions gathered will be analyzed to assess their feasibility and implementation conditions. This work will then enable mayors and community elected officials to debate and validate the main orientations of the Territory Project during the Community Council meeting at the end of January 2027. A restitution and implementation phase will begin in February 2027, followed by a new engagement with residents in the fall of 2027.
