The Figeacteurs collective, which develops local initiatives in the Figeac living area and promotes the social and solidarity economy, is launching a participatory approach called 'Ça mijote'. This initiative aims to involve all citizens in the success of future projects.
Composed of residents, businesses, institutional partners, and local associations, Figeacteurs focuses its work on four main themes: 'Water', 'Housing', 'Health', and 'Local Economy'. The goal is to collectively understand these issues, define residents' needs, and imagine relevant solutions.
Every citizen is invited to become an investigator. This role will allow them to understand their ecosystem through playful and collective research, to bring out feelings and data, to develop skills, to share contacts, and to feel free to imagine innovative solutions. The survey will take place over three months, from October 15, 2026, to mid-January 2027, with support offered to investigators at each stage.
Registration for this first phase is open. A meeting is scheduled for October 15 at 5:30 PM. The exact location will be determined based on the number of participants. A major evening event to present the selected projects is planned for March 2, 2027, at the François Mitterrand space in Figeac. Subsequently, from March 2027, the chosen projects will receive support for their implementation.
