The Park Festival 2026 brought together nearly 900 people on Sunday, October 27th, at the Maison du Parc, celebrating culture, music, and ecomobility with committed partners.

The fourth edition of the Park Festival, held every two years, was a great success on Sunday, October 27th, attracting nearly 900 participants to the Maison du Parc between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The event confirmed its importance in the landscape of departmental events.
The Jazzèbre festival marked this edition with a high-quality musical program. In the morning, the duo Canto Nudo performed an itinerant concert on the TER, the Yellow Train, and at the stations of Villefranche-de-Conflent and Joncet. Following official speeches by Michel Garcia, President of the Park, Aude Vivès (vice-president of the Departmental Council), and Agnès Langevine (vice-president of the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region), affirming their support for the Park's work, the Grande Fanfare Jazzèbre energized the forecourt of the Maison du Parc with sixty musicians.
In the afternoon, the young Toulouse-based group Cornélius presented a mix of spoken-word songs and Central African rhythms in the Bastide clearing. Beyond the concerts, Jazzèbre organized workshops, a mural was painted on the Yellow Train, and the Librairie la Libambulle offered a selection of thematic books. The collective La Clé presented the children's show-concert Bontres by the company Acoufonic.
Ecomobility was central to the event thanks to the partnership with the Yellow Train and SNCF, offering a €5 round-trip ticket for participants coming from the plains. The association Vélo en Têt organized a bike procession, and Tanguy Van Cutsem from the brewery Au bord du lit arrived by cargo bike.
Vocational students from the Hospitality Professions program at Lycée polyvalent Charles Renouvier de Prades contributed to the event's communication and volunteered on the day. Numerous local artisans, producers, institutional representatives, and associations also hosted stands, raising visitor awareness about the territory's challenges.
The mixed syndicate of the Parc naturel régional des Pyrénées catalanes thanks all partners and participants for this successful, responsible, and bold day, which bodes well for future projects built together.
