The consultation for the revision of the Grand-Figeac Climate Plan continues with three free events open to everyone. These events aim to raise awareness of climate change challenges and propose concrete solutions for building the territory of tomorrow.
On October 10th at 8 PM in Saint-Simon, an evening under the stars will be held for the Night of the Stars. The Astronomade will guide participants in discovering the starry sky, discussing the effects of light pollution and the richness of our night sky.
On October 14th at 8:30 PM in Bagnac-sur-Célé, a screening of the documentary "France, il était une fois demain" will be followed by a discussion on climate challenges and solutions for the region. The question "What if the France of tomorrow began today?" will be at the heart of the discussions.
Finally, on October 20th at 5 PM in Lacapelle-Marival, a visit will allow participants to discover several local renewable energy installations: a wood-energy heating network, an agricultural methanization unit, and a photovoltaic solar installation. The goal is to understand how the territory can produce and use its energy differently.
These events are part of Grand-Figeac's commitment to Energy Transition, a key issue for the sustainable development and attractiveness of the territory, especially considering household energy expenses which represent a significant part of the annual budget.
