Three agreements were signed between Lot Habitat and the Pompiers du Lot in October 2026, solidifying a strong mutual commitment. These accords primarily aim to facilitate access to housing managed by Lot Habitat for volunteer firefighters (SPV).
Another significant aspect of these agreements involves the implementation of an employer convention. This aims to facilitate the availability of Lot Habitat employees who are also engaged as SPVs, thereby recognizing their dual commitment.
Furthermore, the agreements provide for access to built sites owned by Lot Habitat. These spaces will be made available to enable the carrying out of maneuvers and training necessary for firefighters in their missions.
This initiative demonstrates Lot Habitat's commitment to the values of engagement and public service, values shared with volunteer firefighters. The President of the SDIS and the Sub-Prefect praised this effort by social housing providers.
The Director General of Lot Habitat also expressed her gratitude to Quentin Guy, an employee of the organization and a volunteer firefighter officer, whose personal commitment perfectly illustrates the scope of this partnership.
