Ten communes within the Vallée du Lot et du Vignoble were honored during the 2026 edition of the national « Commune à découvrir® » label. This recognition celebrates the wealth of their tourist and cultural heritage.
The recognized localities include Albas, Anglars-Juillac, Bélaye, Castelfranc, Duravel, Luzech, Mauroux, Montcabrier, Prayssac, and Puy-l’Évêque. These names were part of the list unveiled on September 8th.
This distinction highlights the diversity of historical, architectural, natural, and cultural heritage found within the CCVLV territory. The awarded communes will be able to use this label to promote their communication materials and install dedicated signage at the entrance of their towns.
This initiative aims to enhance the visibility and overall attractiveness of the Vallée du Lot et du Vignoble region.
