The mobilization for Pink October takes on a festive dimension in Marvejols. The town has reinvented the 'Estivales' evening, canceled in August, to offer a special event on October 29, 2026, at the Salle Polyvalente. This evening aims to combine generosity, conviviality, and celebration while raising awareness for early breast cancer detection.
Starting at 7:30 PM, the program will begin with a first part featuring the most beautiful classics of Disney songs, intended to enchant the youngest and get the older ones singing. The second part will be led by the concert Génération 80 by Lucas, inviting attendees to dance and sing.
On-site catering will be available throughout the evening. The refreshment stand will be managed by the Rugby Club Marvejolais, which will also organize a grand raffle. Numerous prizes offered by the City of Marvejols will be up for grabs, and participation will help raise funds for the Ligue contre le cancer de la Lozère (Lozère League Against Cancer).
Beyond the festive aspect, the event highlights the importance of awareness for early breast cancer detection. Entertainment for the whole family is planned, including face painting for children, caricatures, wooden games, a photo booth, and cotton candy.
Admission to this evening, which will take place at the Salle Polyvalente de Marvejols starting at 7:30 PM, is free.
