The city of Perpignan will host the inaugural Urban Trail on Saturday, November 14, and Sunday, November 15, 2026, a sporting and festive event encouraging participants to discover Perpignan's heritage from a new perspective.

The Perpignan Urban Trail promises a unique experience beyond just a race. Featuring three distances of 9, 14, and 24 km, a 9 km walk, and two children's races of 700m and 1,500m, the event caters to all ages. Participants will explore the city's streets, parks, and iconic monuments, including some unusual passages, offering a different view of Perpignan.
Organized by the agency My Sport Agency, in partnership with the City of Perpignan, the Prefecture of Pyrénées-Orientales, and the association Animation Sport Emploi 66, the event's village will be located at the Arsenal, on Jean Vielledent street, serving as the starting point for all races.
The program spans two days. Saturday, November 14, 2026, is dedicated to young runners with the 700m Discovery course (ages 6-9) at 3 PM and the 1,500m Youth course (ages 10-11) at 3:30 PM. Parents can join the younger children on the 700m course. Sunday, November 15, 2026, will feature the 24 km race (start at 8 AM), 14 km race (start at 9 AM), 9 km race (start at 10:30 AM), and a non-timed 9 km walk (start at 11:30 AM). A corporate challenge is also planned.
The routes, varying in the number of sites discovered (12 for the 9 km, 16 for the 14 km, 19 for the 24 km), will highlight Perpignan's historical, economic, and social heritage, including locations such as the Hôtel Pams, the Campo Santo, the Arsenal, the square Bir Hakeim, the Saint-Jacques church garden, the Banks of the Têt river, the Théâtre de l'Archipel, the Aimé-Giral stadium, and the Vernet media library. The aim is to connect different neighborhoods and promote the city's quality of life.
The event village, open to participants and visitors at the Arsenal, will offer activities, children's games, and partner stands on Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 3 PM. Bib collection will also take place at the Arsenal, Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 6:30 AM until one hour before each start. Registrations are exclusively online.
