A new open-air market will open its doors on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, in the Canigou shopping center area of Saint-Estève, offering local commercial products.

Starting Wednesday, November 18, 2026, a new open-air market will be inaugurated in the Canigou shopping center area. Held every Wednesday morning from 8 AM to 1 PM, it aims to meet residents' needs and liven up the neighborhood.
This market will feature 25 stalls for resellers, producers, artisans, and merchants offering food products, textiles, and accessories.
This project follows a needs assessment conducted in 2024, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), to diversify the town's commercial offerings and create a meeting place.
The Saturday morning market, located on the town hall square, will be maintained. The inauguration of the new “Marché du Canigou” is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 11 AM.
