After a 15-year absence, the Agricultural Fair made a grand return to St Cirice on Saturday, September 19, drawing nearly 95 exhibitors and a large crowd eager to discover the richness of local agriculture.

The day began with the presentation of various cattle breeds such as Blondes d’Aquitaine, Normandes, Limousine, and Prim’Holstein, alongside horses and hunting dogs, all under the shade of poplar trees.
The main street showcased vintage mechanics, including tractors, motorcycles, and classic cars, as well as modern agricultural equipment, highlighting the technology used by farmers and Cuma cooperatives. Concurrently, local producers offered poultry and artisanal products.
A wide range of local products were available for sale, demonstrating the region's agricultural diversity: honey, croustades, seasonal fruits and vegetables, wine, cooked snails, and hazelnut liqueur.
The village children's play area transformed into a stage for presenting turkeys, geese, chickens, roosters, rabbits, as well as ponies and small American horses, captivating the children's eyes.
Artisans, including stonecutters, carpenters, designers, and painters, also displayed their skills and talents.
Various activities enlivened the day, featuring goat milking, carriage and pony rides, a drone demonstration ('Auvillar en vol'), and insights into the professions of saddler, animal osteopathy, horse training, and country dancing.
During the official speeches, speakers congratulated the organizers and addressed crucial topics such as climate change, the water issue, and the sustainability of agricultural holdings.
The day concluded with a rustic and musical meal, setting the stage for anticipation of the next edition.
