As part of the New Southwest Line (LNSO) project, SNCF has initiated targeted clearing operations along the route of the future Bordeaux–Toulouse railway line, which will take place from October 1, 2026, to February 2027.

These interventions aim to prepare for the next stages of project studies. They will allow for archaeological diagnostics and geotechnical surveys, essential for understanding the archaeological heritage and studying the soil.
The operations, carried out under environmental authorizations issued by inter-prefectural decree, are limited to the areas necessary for investigations. They are scheduled considering ecological sensitivities and are accompanied by measures to avoid and limit impacts on natural environments and biodiversity.
A local mediator is available to residents, elected officials, and concerned property owners to answer questions, provide information on the interventions, and gather feedback.
