The City of Castres has announced the relaunch of its 'Pocket Money' program for the 2026/2027 season. This initiative is aimed at young residents of the municipality, aged 14 by September 1, 2026, and under 18 by June 30, 2027. Its goal is to allow them to discover the world of work, get involved in community life, and gain independence.
During a half-day, either during school holidays or on Wednesday afternoons, young participants will join a municipal service team, supervised by a tutor who will guide them in their tasks. Each young person can undertake a maximum of 3 missions throughout the year, with each mission being remunerated at €27.
To apply, individuals must complete the online application form, available in the 'Online Procedures' section of the city's website. Registration requires parental authorization and the submission of the supporting documents mentioned in the application file.
Applications are processed in chronological order of receipt of complete requests, with priority given to those who have never benefited from the program before. Registrations will remain open until the maximum number of candidates is reached.
