The digital process to apply for the CASI emergency fund, aimed at agricultural holdings in Tarn weakened by 2026 climate events, is open from September 30 to October 21 inclusive.

Agricultural operators in the Tarn department can now submit their applications for the rearmament fund, an emergency fund established following the consequences of exceptional heatwaves, drought, and fires in 2026. The application period runs for three weeks, ending on October 21, 2026.
This aid is particularly aimed at holdings in significant economic distress. Eligibility criteria include farmers who benefited from assisted installation between January 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, market gardening holdings declaring at least 0.5 ha, field crop holdings with a spring crop specialization exceeding 45%, livestock or mixed farming holdings in economic difficulty, as well as wine and fruit-growing operations that have experienced the most significant losses. All other holdings particularly affected by the 2026 hazards are also covered.
Detailed information on this emergency fund and the digital process is available on the prefecture's website. It is recalled that the elected officials of the Tarn Chamber of Agriculture and agricultural profession representatives did not participate in defining the fund's attribution criteria, which were established by the DDT of Tarn.
