The city of Pamiers hosted two significant events, the Commerce Marathon and the ERN Job Dating, on Friday, October 9th and Monday, October 12th, aimed at strengthening local employment and fostering connections between businesses and job seekers.

On Friday, October 9th, Pamiers held the Commerce Marathon. This event allowed job seekers to meet with local retailers and businesses in the city center, providing an opportunity to explore professions and identify new career prospects. The initiative, a collaboration with France Travail, the City Hall of Pamiers, the merchants' association, OPCO EP, Mission Locale, and Cap Emploi, facilitated direct interactions.
On Monday, October 12th, the Maison des Associations hosted the Job Dating event organized by the Regional Digital School (ERN), running from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The morning began with presentations from participating companies, allowing candidates to learn about their activities and recruitment needs, followed by individual interviews from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
These two days highlight a collective commitment to fostering territorial employment by leveraging local businesses, retailers, and partners. Jean Philippe Sannac, Mayor of Pamiers, emphasized the value of these concrete encounters: 'Employment is also built on the ground, as close as possible to our businesses and shops. These two days have created tangible connections, introduced our companies, and, I hope, sparked great professional opportunities. This is the collective dynamic we wish to continue fostering in Pamiers.'
